MATE 4000 Homework
- Write only on one side of each sheet of paper, leaving the other
side for my comments.
- Use the posted sequential numbering, not the one in the book. For
example, assignment 2 starts with exercise 7.
- The problems from the text have solutions sketched at the end of
the book; mere repetition of the solution, without adding details of
proof (or, in some cases, suggestive illustrations) will not earn you
many points.
