MATE 4071 Homework

Homework is to be kept in one single notebook, of size 8--10 in.There will be four collections in total, the first one on Sep 7. Number the problems according to the order they are posted, not according to the numbering in the book. For example, the fourth problem (problem 15 of 6.3 of Boas) has number four, not fifteen.

Homework 1 due Sep 7: problems 1--16.
Homework 2 due Oct 17: problems 1--34. Hints were added to some of the problems from the first set.
Homework 3 due Nov 14: problems 1--56.
Homework 4 due Dec 5: problems 1--82. Some hints to problems from the first set were improved.
Final set: some problems were added, not to be handed in, but to be practiced.
