MATE 4145 Homework
Write only the recto side of each sheet of paper, leaving the other side
for my comments. Use pencil. Problems will be assigned from the text,
to be numbered according to the order of their posting, not according
to the numbering in the book. For example, in assignment 5, problems
41 and 44 a) should be indicated as follows:
"Problem 41 (exercise 7 of § 4.4)"
"Problem 44 a) (exercise 1 of § 4.5)".
In addition, indicate the date and the assignment number on the first
page of your set. Work which appears to have been completed in a hurry
right before class makes a bad impression.
