Policy on attendance   Students are required to attend all lectures. The penalty for unexcused absences is:
2-3 absences: grade penalty
4 absences: F on the course
In addition to regular quizzes, there will be pop quizzes. They are the means by which I record attendance.

Exams are in class. These dates supersede any information found in the generic syllabus.
Dec 7 is the deadline for collecting your partial exams, after which there will be a point penalty.
