Assigned problems . The
"due date" on these problems means any quiz given on or after this
date may bear on the corresponding material. Quizzes will usually bear
on recently assigned problems, or corresponding examples given in
class.

number first, followed by the corresponding number in the text,
between parentheses. So for problems 3, 10:
