MATE 5049 Homework

Write only on one side of each sheet of paper, leaving the other side for my comments.
Use the posted sequential numbering, not the one in the book. For example, assignment 2 starts with exercise 6.
If you have low scores on some of the problems, I will sometimes allow you to retry them for half credit.

Assignment 1 due Feb 5. Returned Feb 10; you have until Feb 24 to retry the problems, when applicable.
